Ireland Park,Toronto

Small park along the waterfront featuring sculptures & engravings commemorating Irish immigration.

Park is located on the shores of Lake Ontario on Éireann Quay, adjoining the Canada Malting Silos, at the foot of Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Officially opened in the summer of 2007, Ireland Park commemorates the tens of thousands who fled Ireland during the Great Famine. -Wikipedia

The main focal point of the park is five bronze statues representing the “arrival” of the starving Irish in Canada.

Large  limestone wall engraved with the names of 675 migrants who died upon arrival

Park is  great place for photography and also feature perfect view of downtown Toronto.
