It is a one-of-a-kind community with over 16 km of canals, private sandy beaches on Lake Simcoe offering year-round activities to all its residence. Ninety per cent of residences are on lagoons, which have direct access to Lake Simcoe.

With its clear water and comfortable summer temperatures, Lake Simcoe is a centre for recreational boating and swimming.

Lagoon City, the home of the Yacht Club, is on the east side of the lake, halfway between Beaverton and Orillia.
